DEAR CHILD
Dear Child is an installation comprising multi-channel video projected through nine layers of printed silk hangings, inspired by the life and letters of Lady Mary Wortley Montagu. It uses asynchronous video loops and interpretive dance to explore three stages of her life as a Mother, Performer, and Exile. The installation invites audiences to walk between the layers of silk so each sequence is experienced in several ways.
